Maxava maxView Lite Now Available for iPhone and iPad through App Store

Users can easily download the industry's first IBM i remote monitoring application from the site accessed by consumers worldwide. 

Maxava, has announced that the Maxava maxView Lite free remote system monitoring application is now available to Apple iPhone and iPad users through the official App Store. This is the first time a dedicated IBM i application of this kind has been offered by an HA vendor through the popular marketplace.

"We are now making it even easier for users to quickly and conveniently download the maxView Lite app directly to their iPhone or iPad, underscoring our commitment to delivering solutions that are equally accessible to large enterprise users and SMBs," said Maxava CEO Allan Campbell.

The free maxView Lite app delivers remote capabilities focusing on IBM i system status information when coupled with the maxView Lite Server (free download from http://www.maxava.com/resources/downloads/).  maxView Lite allows users to instantly view the status of their IBM i systems anywhere, anytime, with no requirement for Maxava HA (or any other HA) software to be installed.

Critical system information such as WRKSYSSTS, WRKACTJOB, ASP and CPU utilization is all instantly accessible in real-time from the maxView Lite app.  In addition to iPhone and iPad, maxView Lite is also available as a Web app for BlackBerry and Android devices as well as a flash desktop client for the PC or Mac available in English, Japanese, Spanish and Italian,   (www.maxava.com/maxview-lite/)

Additional Remote Capabilities from maxView Manager and maxView Monitor

For Maxava HA customers, maxView goes further with maxView Manager and maxView Monitor. Remote capabilities allow users to view, interact, and make requests to IBM i and Maxava HA Enterprise+ with maxView Manager.  maxView Monitor delivers a smart way to monitor IBM i and Maxava HA Enterprise and SMB environments and allows users to easily check and report on HA readiness and key IBM i system resources.
