Robot, a division of HelpSystems and the systems management solution of choice for automating IBM i processes and applications, today announced the availability of the new web user interface for its Robot/NETWORK performance management software. The interface provides users the freedom and flexibility to monitor the performance and statuses of their IBM i partitions using a browser interface from any mobile device.

Robot/NETWORK Web UI is compatible with the Android and iOS operating systems and features a responsive design that optimizes the display for any desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone. Its customizable dashboards can be shared between users and set up to define preferred systems and easily filter dashboards and statuses to provide information for the systems selected. The new status grouping feature also allows users to quickly and easily handle similar statuses without filling up their view.

“We’re pleased to be taking Robot in this direction,” says Jody Dahl, Software Development Manager, HelpSystems. “Mobile enablement provides a more manageable footprint and rolling out updates to users on the web server is easy. Robot customers can soon look forward to accessing their Robot/SCHEDULE information from their mobile devices as well.”

The new features are available on Robot/NETWORK version 11 and higher. HelpSystems offers a free, 30-day trial of Robot/NETWORK, which includes full product access and free support.
