Expanding its business automation for brokerage customers, TMW Systems, Inc., now offers an interface with Carrier411 Web services for both TMWSuite and TruckMate, key products in the company's enterprise transportation software line. Carrier411 Services, Inc. offers a Web-based service that enables transportation brokers and shippers to qualify and monitor trucking companies for insurance, operating authority, carrier safety ratings and SafeStat scores.

Already in use by a number of TMW customers with freight brokerage businesses, Carrier411 offers fax, email and online information and alerts about motor carrier credential changes. While many transportation brokers still rely on a faxed copy of the carrier's operating authority and insurance certificate, the manual process of monitoring insurance and authority status can be paper-intensive and time-consuming.

Making use of Carrier411's web services interface, TMW Systems now offers the option of integrated, proactive daily monitoring for carrier credentials within both TruckMate and TMWSuite transportation management software systems, for an added measure of business risk protection.
