IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition V4.1 extends IP network management to optical transport and wireless access domains:

 

  • Provides network visibility to help you visualize and manage complex networks and the services they deliver.
  • Collects and distributes network data and integrates with operational support systems and other workflow applications.
  • Automatically generates and maintains network maps as the network changes, without manual intervention.
  • Supports the following third-party vendor integrations: Alcatel-Lucent (1353NM, 1354RM), Cisco, CiscoWorks LMS, NSN/DragonWave and Netviewer, Huawei Technologies (CORBA TMF 814), Tellabs (INM8000), Nokia (Netact 5.3)

 

The target customers for IBM Tivoli Network Manager IP Edition V4.1 are communications service providers, national and regional carriers, and cable operators. Customers who do not have an interest in optical transport or wireless access network management are advised to use V3.9 and not to upgrade to V4.1.
