IBM AIX 5.3 Technology Level (TL) 12 Service Pack (SP) 7 extends support for the following IBM Power Systems:

  • IBM Power 780 Server (9179-MHD) including feature EXP30 Ultra SSD I/O Drawer (#EDR1)
  • IBM Power 770 Server (9117-MMD) including feature EXP30 Ultra SSD I/O Drawer (#EDR1)
  • IBM Flex System p260 Compute Node (7895-23X)

 

AIX 5.3 is no longer in standard support. Access to AIX 5.3 TL 12 SP7 requires purchase of the AIX 5.3 Service Extension. For more information about AIX 5.3 Service Extensions, refer to Services Announcement 612-006, dated February 14, 2012.
