Profound Logic, an innovator in enterprise modernization and transformation solutions, will announce exciting new products and capabilities at the 2019 COMMON POWERUp Conference and Exposition at the Disneyland Resort in Anaheim, California.

2019 marks the twentieth anniversary of Profound Logic, which was started in 1999 in Dayton, Ohio by CEO Alex Roytman. Over the last two decades, Profound Logic has been dedicated to innovation and giving businesses a path to true modernization, with solutions that include the first browser-based visual designer for RPG, the first commercially available handler for RPG Open Access, and now a cloud-based IDE for full-stack, Node.js development.

“We’ve come a long way since we first formed the company, and I’m proud of all we’ve accomplished in that time,” states Roytman. “Businesses know they can trust Profound Logic as an enterprise modernization, development, and transformation partner. We’ve expanded from a home-grown operation to a company with offices throughout the United States and partners around the world. We’re constantly innovating, and I’m excited about what is on the horizon for us!”

Celebrate 20 Years of Profound at Booth #315

POWERUp attendees are invited to celebrate twenty years of Profound at booth #315 in the exposition hall. All attendees can meet the Profound Logic team, watch product demonstrations, take photos in our photo booth, and pick up a gift bag. Attendees can see our new product, NodeRun, in action and try it out themselves. They can also learn how to join us for our 20th anniversary party on Monday night at the Disneyland Resort.

New Product and Feature Releases

Profound Logic announces the general availability of NodeRun, a full-stack development platform for enterprise Node.js applications. POWERUp attendees will have the chance to see and use NodeRun in booth #315 in the exposition.

NodeRun is the free, easy, and social way to develop and deploy enterprise-ready Node.js applications.

You can build and deploy your Node.js applications (called “spaces”) much easier and faster than ever before, making NodeRun an ideal solution for new and experienced Node developers alike. Your NodeRun business applications are designed to be compatible with any relational database out of the box, including MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, IBM Db2, and Db2 for i.

The NodeRun cloud-based IDE and online community is available now, and you can begin creating your own spaces today at http://www.noderun.com.

New features have also been added to our Profound UI and Profound.js products, including:

  • Git Integration for Profound.js IDE – The Profound.js IDE now features seamless integration with Git, the popular free/open source version control system. Users can now create Git repositories in the workspace, manage changes, make commits, integrate with GitHub, and more — all without leaving the IDE.
  • js Docker Image – Profound.js is now available as a Docker image via Docker Hub. Dockeris a tool designed for creating, deploying, and running applications by using OS-level virtualization technology called containers. Docker Hub is a cloud-based repository in which Docker users and partners create, test, store and distribute container images. Launching a Profound.js instance in a container is now as simple as running one Docker command.

There are many more new features and capabilities in the latest releases of our products, and you can learn about them at https://core.profoundlogic.com/docs/display/PUI/Profound+Logic+Documentation.
