Employees in North American offices raise more than $85,000 to strengthen the communities in which associates and customers live and work
HelpSystems announced today that its annual Fall Fundraiser generated $85,605, a company record for participation. Donations will support charitable causes including Free Bikes 4 Kidz, Special Olympics of Minnesota, United Way, NPH International, and others. Employees make pledges over a week-long drive that includes management serving breakfast to generate proceeds and a popular silent auction. During the auction, employees bid on the chance to win donated merchandise as well as the opportunity to have CEO Chris Heim serve them coffee during the day or CFO Dan Mayleben wash their car.
“Our employees realize how fortunate we all are and the importance of giving back whenever we can,” Heim said. “We’re so glad to see that as the business succeeds, employees take it upon themselves to organize and support their communities. The success of this annual fundraiser is just one of the many reasons HelpSystems is among the top places to work.”
“Every year, you can feel the excitement about this event across our employee base,” Mayleben said. “I’m so impressed with the generosity of our team and know the funds will really make a difference for the children and families these important causes support.”
