Three-day event is designed to boost educational value.
COMMON has announced a new educational conference offering, the COMMON Fall Conference and Expo, designed to satisfy the IBM high-tech community’s needs. Though not as large as the COMMON Annual Meeting and Exposition, this new three-day Power Systems educational and networking event will be packed with 112 educational sessions on a large variety of topics, including vendor-led sessions. As expected from all COMMON conferences, attendees will have the opportunity to further enhance their education through numerous networking events and meetings with leading solution providers in the tabletop-style expo. The inaugural event will be held this fall in San Antonio, Texas, Oct. 4–6.
“We asked members and non-members to see what type of education would benefit them the most in this economic state and what they are looking for in a conference. Based on their responses, we have developed this Fall Conference & Expo to meet those needs. It will offer great value to attendees and benefit the overall Power Systems community,” said Pete Massiello, chair of the Fall Conference Task Force.
The COMMON Fall Conference and Expo will be located at the Crowne Plaza Riverwalk San Antonio. The Crowne Plaza Riverwalk is offering reasonably-priced rooms for conference attendees, complimentary internet in all guest rooms, discounted parking, and complimentary 24 hour access to the Business Center as well as the Fitness Center. The hotel is ideally located along the Riverwalk within a wide range of dining, shopping, and entertainment options.
