New Genius project-specific version of enterprise application integration platform improves accuracy, helps managers model new projects.

Genius Inside and Magic Software are combining their project management and application integration platforms into a single solution that provides detailed, accurate, and up-to-the minute views of projects anywhere in the enterprise.

Magic Software's new version of its iBOLT integration platform, iBOLT Special Edition for Genius Inside, enables Genius Inside's Genius Project software to integrate quickly and easily with major corporate information systems such as SAP and Salesforce.com without requiring custom coding. The resulting solution gives project managers detailed information about their projects including data such as budgets, time, and labor costs.

"We are very pleased with this partnership between Magic Software and Genius Inside," said Eric Choppe, general manager for Southern Europe at Magic Software Enterprises. "iBOLT Special Edition for Genius Inside demonstrates once again how Magic Software's technologies ease integration of new components in corporate information systems. Furthermore, iBOLT perfectly matches Genius Inside strategy and will help make cloud computing deployments and existing 'on-premises' infrastructures work together."

Access to a broad spectrum of corporate data through iBOLT Special Edition enables managers to accurately model potential projects, forecast costs, determine resource requirements, and set timetables. iBOLT Special Edition for Genius Inside also helps managers create workflows between applications to save time and reduce errors by eliminating redundant data re-entry.

Genius Project software enables managers to take control of projects that can spread over many different workgroups, departments, and time zones. Genius Project encompasses every strategic and tactical project management function, from workflow and e-mail notifications to "what if?" analysis, risk, and resource management, timesheet, and expense reporting, portfolio management and collaboration features. It is available in three configurations: Genius Project On-Demand, a Web-based (SaaS) solution; Genius Project Enterprise Edition, a hosted-on-premise solution; and Genius Project for Domino for use in Lotus Notes environments.

"The more information project managers have, the better able they are to reach their objectives ahead of schedule and under budget," said Christophe Borlat, Genius Inside's managing director, sales and marketing. "Integrating project management solutions with enterprise applications can be a complex, expensive and time-consuming process. iBOLT Special Edition for Genius Inside eliminates those barriers. It gives Genius Project users streamlined access to the information they need to make decisions that can save their companies time and money on important projects."
