IBM Spectrum Accelerate on Cloud delivers grid-scale, enterprise-class storage system capabilities on SoftLayer Cloud, and IBM Spectrum Accelerate V11.5.1.

 

IBM Spectrum Accelerate on Cloud delivers a similar feature set with the same reliability and predictable and consistent performance of Spectrum Accelerate while running in the SoftLayer cloud. It enables you to consume storage as a service without the need to install or maintain any hardware or software components.

 

IBM Spectrum Accelerate V11.5.1 delivers new functions, such as enabling usage of nonuniform server deployment, supports for any HDD (between 1 TB to 4 TB) and any SSD (up to 800 GB), as well as support for Microsoft System Control Virtual Machine Manager management via Storage Management Initiative Specification (SMI-S) V1.6.0.
