IBM Watson Explorer V11.0 accelerates the deployment of hybrid cloud applications and harnesses new text mining and cognitive computing capabilities from the IBM Watson Developer Cloud.

 

IBM Watson Explorer V11.0 adds application development capabilities that accelerate an organization's journey into cognitive and hybrid computing by serving as an entry point to the IBM Watson Developer Cloud. New features enable organizations to:

  • Leverage sophisticated natural language processing techniques that analyze content and add high-level semantic information that deliver insights from unstructured content.
  • Accelerate cognitive computing initiatives by quickly integrating and analyzing data from Representative State Transfer-based (RESTful) web services, as well as services from Watson™ Developer Cloud.
  • Integrate data from Salesforce.com and Microsoft™ SharePoint Online in to Watson Explorer V11.0 Foundational Components in order to leverage employee engagement and collaboration data.
  • Harness data from IBM® Connections V5.0 for Watson Explorer V11.0 Content Analytics to enable analysis of unstructured content managed in Connections V5.0.
  • Rapidly deploy 360-degree information applications, using new features that provide guided customization of both the visual and functional elements of the application.
  • Improve users' ability to perform hypothesis-free unstructured data analysis with Watson Explorer V11.0 Content Analytics Miner through an enhanced user interface.
  • Leverage native integration with IBM BigInsights™ for Apache Hadoop in order to scale content analytics.
