New Lower Cost for Alliance Key Manager in Amazon Web Services (AWS)

Townsend Security, the encryption company, today announced a price reduction to Alliance Key Manager for AWS. The company’s FIPS 140-2 compliant encryption key manager enables Amazon Web Services (AWS) customers to protect their sensitive data and applications in the cloud, as well as meet regulatory compliance. Alliance Key Manager for AWS has been reduced to an industry low price of $.50/hour. Additionally, customers can purchase an annual subscription and receive an added 20 percent savings when compared to hourly pricing over the same 12-month period.

Using the same FIPS 140-2 validated key management technology available in Townsend Security's HSM and in use by over 3,000 customers worldwide, Alliance Key Manager for AWS provides full life-cycle management of encryption keys for a wide variety of applications and databases. The solution helps organizations meet PCI DSS, HIPAA, and PII compliance at a low monthly fee. Additionally, there is no aspect of key management administration that is under the control of AWS or Townsend Security.

 

Available at no extra charge, Townsend Security includes ready-to-use security applications (SQL Server, Drupal, more), SDKs, and sample code (Java, C#, Pearl, PHP, more) for developers. Additionally, there are never extra fees for deploying client-side applications. (AWS usage fees apply.)

 

For customers requiring the highest level of redundancy, Alliance Key Manager for AWS supports real-time mirroring of encryption keys to other instances of the key manager outside of cloud environments. The solution is currently also available as a traditional hardware security module (HSM), cloud HSM, and VMware virtual appliance (validated to meet PCI DSS).
