Zoho fully integrates with Google Apps at sign-on, data and application levels.

Zoho has announced it has added Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects to the Google Apps Marketplace, Google’s recently launched online storefront for Google Apps products and services. From a central location, millions of Google Apps users can now subscribe to and access Zoho business applications, which are tightly integrated with Google Apps. To learn more, visit zoho.com/googleapps.

“Zoho’s Business Apps complement Google Apps. We previously integrated our apps at the log-in level with single sign-on,” said Raju Vegesna, Zoho evangelist. “Now, we take our integrations deeper, thanks to the enhanced APIs for Google Apps. We are happy to be part of Google Apps Marketplace where we offer full-fledged integrations with Google Apps for Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects, with additional business apps to follow.”

The applications that Zoho has added to the Google Apps Marketplace represent some of the company’s most popular offerings, including:

Zoho CRM – Zoho’s on-demand solution for building, maintaining and strengthening customer relationships. With Zoho CRM, users gain a 360-degree view of their business and a central location for tracking sales and marketing activities as well as sharing customer emails.

Zoho Projects – the company’s online project collaboration and management application. Zoho Projects blends project collaboration and management features, so users can plan, track and collaborate on projects from a single application.

Users gain a variety of benefits from the integration of the Zoho applications with Google Apps. For all Zoho applications, the integration lets users automatically sign in to the Zoho applications with their existing Google Apps credentials. In addition, Zoho Business applications will be listed in Google’s universal navigation, and Zoho application gadgets can be embedded in relevant Google applications, such as Gmail, iGoogle and Google Sites. Other application-specific integration benefits include:

Zoho CRM – Users can view Gmail emails in Zoho CRM contextually, so all Gmail emails exchanged with a Zoho CRM contact can be viewed. Users can also import contacts from Google Apps to Zoho CRM, view Zoho CRM calendar events in Google Calendar, and more.

Zoho Projects – Users can view Zoho Project calendar events in Google Calendar and attach Google Docs files to Zoho Projects.

“We are very excited to have Zoho Business Apps in the Google Apps Marketplace,” adds Scott McMullan, Partner Lead for Google Apps. “Through the Google Apps Marketplace, ISVs like Zoho are helping us build a rich ecosystem of integrated apps that work seamlessly with Google Apps, allowing IT administrators to leverage the benefits of cloud computing and extend Google Apps to meet more of their business needs. We are happy to offer Zoho CRM and Zoho Projects to the millions of Google Apps users who have embraced the cloud.”

The Google Apps Marketplace makes it easy for more than two million Google Apps customers to discover, purchase and deploy integrated business applications and related professional services. By integrating with user account and application data stored in Google Apps, these cloud applications provide a simpler user experience, increase business efficiency, and reduce administrative overhead.
