Utilities 400 announced the release of their upgraded and improved out-of-the-box Modernization solution, Modern-i.
Over the years, out-of the-box modernisation solutions have had a bad rap. For the most part, they provide a simple screen scrape facility and not much beyond. Modern-i is different. V2 of this powerful and flexible web facing tool will allow you to re-engineer your screens and pull together multiple green screens into the one web page. It provides options to split a screen into 8 different panels and then re-position at will. And then there's the ability to add charts & graphs, downloading to excel and personalize the interface to match your corporate identity.
Steve Close, Technical Director for Utilities 400 explains, "Our goal was to build the best modernisation solution available and with the release of Modern-I v2, we believe we're there."
Andrew Nicholson, Sales and Marketing Director continues, "Its ease of set-up belies its sophistication." he explained. "The IBM i engine can interpret pretty much every session variable available and display it to the web. But it is its integration with our Design Studio that provide the biggest enhancements as we can tailor the GUI with your own corporate identity and add widgets and other functionality. The possibilities are great!"
The level of detail continues within its feature list as Modern-i also supports active directory and enjoys the ability to provide additional validation. Join Steve Close and I for a webinar that explores the pressures and options available to the IBM i professional and introduces/demonstrates Modern-i v2, a solution that does all of the above and more.
To celebrate the launch of their new modernization solution, Utilities 400 are holding a series of FREE modernisation webinars.
Simply entitled, "Modernization" the webinar explores how you can modernize your green screen applications quickly, without programming, compromise or considerable costs. We'll provide a live demonstration of the new Modern-i engine, creating browser based GUIs on the fly for office and mobile use.
