Using the latest ILE and service program build techniques has reduced the footprint and increased the performance of HA4i on your IBM i.
Technical
HA4i requires IBM i OS Version 6, release 1 and upwards and uses remote journaling for database replication. Object replication is triggered by the use of the Audit journal and advanced request filtering to ensure effective resource use.
All of the changes within this release have been made with simplicity in mind. Installation and management should be possible by regular skilled staff without the need of a specially certified consultant.
Licensing is IBM tier-based.
Background
Operational since 2007, HA4i used the latest technology available on IBM i.” Says Hird, “New features and enhancements have taken the product beyond its original concepts, while still retaining the easy to manage philosophy.”
