RJS Software Systems, a premier provider of content management, electronic forms and workflow software, has unveiled a new packet printing software add-on for its award-winning WebDocs document management solution.
The packet printing software allows users to electronically assemble, print and email document packets with variable content requirements. This add-on to WebDocs allows paper-intensive businesses, such as those in finance, insurance and human resources, to create automated packet assembly workflows that reduce or eliminate the need for manual assembly, printing and distribution.
For example, when an insurance company sells a new policy, the software would pull the required documents from WebDocs and automatically assemble all of the policy pages required for the policyholder's state into a single PDF document, which could then be printed and emailed to the policyholder and stored electronically.
Another use would be to assemble a manufacturing shop order with all the appropriate documentation to build a product; or when an order is shipped, a company could include all the product sheets for complementary products for marketing purposes.
Yet another popular use would be to create a rendition billing routine to print invoices and orders along with all the associated backup documents, such as proof of deliveries, order acknowledgements and other signed documents.
The packet printing software adds to the WebDocs arsenal of automation features and will further assist customers in moving to a more automated document production environment. It will also help them save money on paper-related storage and labor costs by eliminating the need for manual document assembly.
"We feel this is a very unique offering in the document management industry. Using our new packet printing software will dramatically reduce labor and improve production processes and customer service for any business that assembles and distributes packets of document information," said Jerry Olson, RJS Software's vice president of sales and marketing. "It's a natural add-on for our WebDocs customers and can provide instant ROI as they continue to grow their businesses and look for efficiencies that make their employees and processes more productive."
Data Capture and Document Management Combined
RJS also announced the addition of a new advanced data capture and forms processing module for its WebDocs document management solution.
RJS has teamed up with Datacap, a leading data capture solutions provider, to integrate the company's Taskmaster software into WebDocs. The combined solution gives RJS one of the most robust and advanced document management and data capture solutions in the market, the company said.
Taskmaster is an advanced solution for document capture and forms processing. It provides highly flexible solutions for both document image indexing and data entry automation for all types of documents and forms, including medical claims, tax returns and unstructured forms, such as accounts payable invoices and shipping documents.
The software's rules-driven capture workflow is easily tailored to fit dynamic business requirements. The solution combines the latest OCE, ICR, OMR and barcode recognition engines with a standard library of hundreds of script-based rules to classify documents, and recognize, find and validate data. Taskmaster accurately captures data from any type of structured, highly variable or unstructured form.
The solution also enables remote scanning, indexing and administration from a browser and integrates seamlessly with WebDocs.
"Our customers are looking to streamline their accounts payable and other labor-intensive data input processes throughout their organizations," said Olson. "DataCap and WebDocs are a great way to automate the data entry process, improve employee productivity and provide immediate ROI."
