PowerSC provides security and compliance tools to protect data centers and cloud environments virtualized with PowerVM.

 

Version 1.1.3 enhancements include the following:

  • Compliance automation for Linux running on IBM Power Systems.
  • A new compliance automation profile for IBM AIX database servers.
  • The Trusted Firewall capability has been enhanced to provide advice as to what network traffic would benefit from using the Trusted Firewall performance acceleration capabilities.
  • Compliance automation support for Payment Card industry standard version 2.
