  • Capacity Backup (CBU) for PowerHA enables clients to purchase new Power® E880 systems, at a competitive price, for use as a high availability/disaster recovery system for another Power E880 production system.
  • Elastic Capacity on Demand simplifies administrative procedures for contracts and for entitlements codes.
  • The Power S822 adds CBU for IBM i support.
  • Water cooling of 2U scale-out servers enables cooling efficiency and expanded performance configurations.
  • New operating system support and enhancements to IBM Data Engine for NoSQL.
