IBM® Workload Automation V9.4 and IBM Workload Scheduler V9.4 deliver:

  • New versioning and release management for scheduling objects as part of the core automation
  • Centralized and enriched auditing for gaining greater accuracy and transparency on scheduling changes
  • Powerful agent upgrade mechanism which enables users to continue the scheduling activities during the agent upgrade
  • A new modeling graphical user interface that is designed to be quick and easy to use
  • Improved definition and management of variable passing within jobs and jobs streams

 

IBM Workload Automation is the platform of products that enables systematic enterprise-wide workload processing for both calendar and event-based (real-time) workloads across applications and platforms. IBM Workload Scheduler simplifies systems management across distributed environments by integrating systems management functions. IBM Workload Scheduler plans, automates, and controls the processing of your enterprise's entire production workload.

 

Combined with the feature set of Workload Scheduler, Workload Automation automates the planning, processing, and analysis of calendar and event-based enterprise production workloads to efficiently deliver Service Level Agreement (SLA) driven business services.

 

With integrated DevOps enhancements, Workload Automation V9.4 and Workload Scheduler V9.4:

  • Enable clients to accelerate the deployment of new applications and workloads as requested by DevOps initiatives
  • Improve foundational capabilities for DevOps initiatives with simpler security management and enriched auditing, gaining greater accuracy and transparency on scheduling changes
