CompanionLink Announces Hands-Free Wi-Fi Sync for Android and iPhone

Sync contacts, calendar, tasks and notes from PC, including Lotus Notes, to iPhone, iPad, and Android devices through a secure local Wi-Fi connection. 

CompanionLink Software has announced secure PC sync with iPhone, iPad, and Android phones and tablets through a local Wi-Fi network. CompanionLink syncs calendar, contacts, tasks and notes with productivity and CRM suites like Microsoft Outlook, Sage ACT!, IBM Lotus Notes, Palm Desktop, Novell GroupWise, Salesforce CRM, Time & Chaos and more.

“Some people want a hands-free approach to synchronizing data,” says Rushang Shah, director of Marketing for CompanionLink Software. “Traditional sync through a USB cable can be cumbersome for these people. CompanionLink’s wireless sync through Wi-Fi allows people to automatically sync whenever their phone or tablet is near their PC.”

CompanionLink’s Wi-Fi sync works in tandem with DejaOffice, an app for iPhone, iPad and Android devices. DejaOffice brings PC-like calendar, contacts, tasks and notes functionality to these consumer devices, making them more business-savvy. It offers tight integration between its apps with features like color-coded categories, private records, task styles (GTD, Franklin Covey, TBYL), and advanced sort options.
