Midrange Performance Group (MPG) announces the general availability of Performance Navigator Version 16 and Power Navigator Version 6. All models of past and current IBM Power servers are supported by the companion products, including all recently announced IBM Power 7+ servers.

MPG's Performance Navigator targets the IBM i environment while Power Navigator targets AIX and Linux on Power. The newly announced versions of the Navigator Family greatly enhance the Power Analytics functionality of the products. With Power Analytics, users can better understand the performance relationship between the hardware and applications. Version 16 now has over 30 different Analytics reports, all of which are web ready. V16 also expands comparisons of "Before vs. After" conditions providing clear and instant answers to the question, "Did our change make a difference?" Power Navigator continues to be enhanced to provide more virtualization details, especially with VIOS.

MPG Navigator Family's exclusive Capacity Planning function has been enhanced to better support SSDs and external disk analysis. Users can consolidate disparate workloads from IBM i, AIX, Linux (any platform), HPUX and Solaris and model the combined workload to any IBM Power, PowerLinux, or Pure Systems.

Performance Navigator V16 and Power Navigator V6 are available for download from our website: www.mpginc.com
