Business Partner wins Best of Show and Smarter Planet for Asset Management awards.

Interloc Solutions won two of the five annual IBM Tivoli Awards--Best of Show and Smarter Planet for Asset Management. The awards were made at the recently concluded Pulse 2012 conference in Las Vegas. The IBM Tivoli Awards recognize IBM Business Partners that demonstrate excellence in delivering business value to IBM clients based on their solutions with Tivoli software.

The Best of Show award was awarded for Interloc Mobile Informer. A Ready for Tivoli product, Mobile Informer mobilizes IBM Maximo on the iPhone/iPad and Android, allowing work to continue whether connected or disconnected. Mobile Informer is integrated into IBM Maximo providing a platform for the rapid development of lightweight, extensible applications that match the needs of the business.

"Mobile Informer provided a Work Management Solution on the iPad that our maintenance workers were using within minutes," said Ed Larson, ATK Aerospace.

The Smarter Planet for Asset Management award was awarded for a complex IBM Maximo implementation project that Interloc performed on behalf of a rapid transit organization in the Bay Area. This project leveraged both the IBM Maximo for Transportation and Asset Configuration Manager (ACM) software, resulting in unprecedented near real-time insight into its inventory and assets, instantaneous processing of order requests, and the ability to proactively address assets needing repair/maintenance--extending the life of assets, helping ensure that all assets are in optimal working condition, and reducing costs associated with replacements.

The IBM Smarter Planet initiative seeks to highlight how forward thinking leaders in business, government and civil society around the world can capture the potential of smarter systems to achieve economic growth, near-term efficiency, sustainable development and societal progress.

"We are honored to receive both of these distinguished awards," said Mike Watson, president and CEO of Interloc Solutions. "Achieving this type of recognition from IBM highlights the way in which Interloc continues to bring innovative services and products to our customers for continual and rapid ROI on their enterprise assets and to truly make ours a Smarter Planet."
