Several enhancements are available for Power Systems servers:

 

  • IBM i Express Editions (#EU2C, #EU2D) for IBM Power S814
  • 128 GB DIMMs (#EM8E) that provide up to 2 TB capacity for IBM Power S824

 

Additional configuration flexibility enhancements include:

  • GPFS Standard and Advanced indicators (#EGT1, #EGT2) for IBM Power S812L and S822L
  • IBM Platform Cluster Manager - Advanced Edition for Power (#EGT3) for Power S812L and S822L
  • Existing EXP24S for boot drive specify (#ELS0) for IBM Power E870/E880
  • Additional rack specify features (#ER1B, #ER1F, #ER1T) for 7014-T42
