Users now can get IBM i server hardware discounts with the purchase of any combination of Help/Systems software.

Help/Systems has announced it has expanded the IBM i Solution Edition marketing program that provides customers with an opportunity to purchase new POWER7 servers at significantly reduced prices when accompanied by the purchase of software from an IBM-certified Business solution Partner.

The IBM i Solution Edition for Help/Systems lets customers bundle the POWER7 hardware offerings with their choice now of any combination of Help/Systems software: the Robot Automated Operations Solution from Help/Systems; SEQUEL data access and analysis software, and productivity tools from SEQUEL Software; IBM i security solutions from PowerTech; and virus detection and monitoring solutions from Bytware.

The company previously announced that SEQUEL Software was available through the IBM i Solution Edition marketing program.

Currently, three IBM i POWER7 server configurations are available through the Solution Edition program at discounted prices. To qualify for the discounts, a customer must make a minimum purchase of the software vendor’s software, which is more than offset by the Solution Edition hardware discount (see the online data sheet, Benefits of the IBM i Solution Edition for Help/Systems).

“Help/Systems is a big believer in the IBM i marketplace,” said Doug Fulmer, Channel Partner manager for Help/Systems. “We provide a constant stream of innovative products to help make IBM i systems even more powerful and efficient. And, we are investing in products, support, and partnerships that will help drive the success of IBM i on IBM Power Systems well into the future.”

Help/Systems is a group of industry-leading, IBM i-focused companies that are totally dedicated to customer satisfaction and support, says Fulmer. The company develops, markets, and supports the world’s leading software solutions for IBM i systems.
