VMware View 4.5 Available Pre-Installed on 10ZiG VMware Ready Thin Clients

10ZiG thin clients have passed detailed evaluation and testing on View 4.5 managed by VMware. 

10ZiG Technology (www.10zig.com), provider of thin clients and network appliances, has announced that its thin clients achieved VMware Ready Certified status for VMware View 4.5 which is available pre-installed on 10ZiG V-Series Thin Clients and the V9000 Zero Client. This designation indicates that 10ZiG Thin Clients have passed a detailed evaluation and testing process managed by VMware for View 4.5 and now are listed on the VMware hardware compatibility list.

10ZiG provided day one support for VMware View 4.5 on its V-Series Thin Clients and V9000 Zero Client, offering energy-efficient, flexible and powerful end-point devices optimized for VMware. The V9000 Zero Client boasts the Teradici PCoIP Portal processor and is OS independent, providing a rich multimedia experience supporting 3D graphics, CAD and video animation.

VMware View 4.5 is the latest version of the VMware View virtual desktop solution, offering a host of new features to reduce costs and improve efficiency.

VMware View 4.5 Highlights Include:

  • Improved user experience with enhancements to PCoIP protocol
  • Enhanced security including support for FIPS 140-2
