HelpSystems employees supported ALS research and participated in the ALS Ice Bucket Challenge on Friday, August 22, 2014. The challenge, which has spread through social media channels in recent weeks, asks participants to dump a bucket of ice water on their heads, while challenging three other people to participate and donate toward ALS research at www.alsa.org.

HelpSystems was challenged by the brother of employee Pat Cameron, Director of Automation Technology. Mike Cameron was diagnosed with ALS three years ago and recently shared his story and expressed gratitude for the incredible amount of awareness that this challenge has raised for ALS.

Knowing this challenge was more than just getting icy water dumped on their heads, HelpSystems employees also contributed donations online and in cash. They would like to officially nominate their remote HelpSystems offices as well as the IBM office in Rochester, Minnesota.
