Second Annual IBM i Survey Expands to Reach IT Professionals Worldwide

Respected IT websites IT Jungle and PowerWire.eu, in conjunction with software provider HelpSystems, announced the 2016 IBM i Marketplace Survey is open for responses through October 2015.

 

Now in its second year, the survey invites IT professionals across all industries to share their perspectives on hardware, software, and staffing in the data center; completed, current, and upcoming IT initiatives; and their outlook on the future of the IBM i platform. To reach a global audience, the survey is available in Spanish, French, German, and Italian for the first time.

 

More than 350 IT professionals participated in the first IBM i Marketplace Survey last year, sharing encouraging and sometimes surprising responses. The vast majority (94 percent) believed the IBM i platform delivers better ROI than others, and many organizations listed mobile access, high availability, and modernizing applications as top IT priorities.

 

“The first survey sparked great conversations throughout our industry and we hope to reach even more members of the IBM i community with the 2016 survey,” says Tom Huntington, Vice President of Technical Services, HelpSystems. “It’s a tool that shows IT professionals how their peers at different organizations and in different industries are using IBM i technology.”

 

The 2016 IBM i Marketplace Survey is available online and results will be released in early 2016.
