The modifications were based on user feedback and include the assignment of search parameter names when the database is first created. Also, the output form type, defined in the form definition, is carried through in the archive document printing. PDF files can be created from retrieved archive files simply with the press of a function key.
Also in the new release is support for the US Postal Service 4-State or Intelligent Mail Barcode. The Intelligent Mail Barcode allows the user to uniquely identify the sender and the mail piece. It will also provide a destination zip code for sorting and routing as well as encode special service indicators and address change service requests.
The new release expands the extract functions to include the user defined data area of the spool file. This can be populated with up to 200 characters making it much more flexible than the 10-character user data field.
