The award recognizes best practices in customer solutions by IT channels across Europe.
Tango/04 Computing Group announced today that it has been chosen as one of four finalists in the business intelligence category for the European IT Excellence Awards 2010, the Pan-European awards that recognise IT solution providers.
Tango/04 is presenting the success story of ING Nationale-Nederlanden Spain, one of the world’s leading financial corporations offering banking, insurance, and asset management services to more that 85 million customers worldwide. The company uses Tango/04 monitoring solutions to control performance and availability of: Web services, call centers, corporate reporting, data warehousing processes, VPN, email services, and many other critical applications, as well as the whole supporting technical infrastructure. ING Nationale-Nederlanden Spain also monitors the entire security of Windows, AIX, and IBM System i servers, including control of security policies and audit changes, user management, groups and privileges, important events, sensitive data access, control of super users, etc.
Tango/04 is competing in the business intelligence category with three other finalists. This set of awards is exclusively for independent software vendors (ISVs), highlighting the applications that they develop for their customers.
Raul Cristian Aguirre, CEO and founder of Tango/04, said: “We are really happy with the recognition implied by being part of the finalists in a category valued as much as Business Intelligence is to Tango/04, and above all, of having achieved it with such an important case as ING’s."
The awards will be given Feb. 25 at an event at The Tower, a Guoman Hotel, in London.
