Almost 70 titles spanning a large variety of topic areas are on sale for as little as $10.
In the computer industry, the more you know, the more you're worth. That's why people spend $1,000 and up attending a single industry trade show to keep their skills and knowledge up to date. Most people have figured out, however, that it's far cheaper to read a book than to go to a conference—and the benefits can be more lasting. For those who want to extend their education in the most economical way possible, the MC Press Bookstore has just launched its biggest sale of the year—the BIG Summer Sale.
There are two BIG sales every year at MC Press, the second one being the BIG Winter Sale. These two events promise savings to readers that are unmatched during other promotions throughout the year. Readers can save up to 75 percent off the list price on a large variety of titles and many subject areas. Nearly 70 titles are on sale, and the majority of books are priced at $30 or less.
"This amazing new sale will take the place of our perennially popular Inventory Clearance Blowout that we have held in previous years," says MC Press Marketing Director Jeff Phillips. "It's truly an unprecedented opportunity to stock up on a bunch of titles all at once for very little money," he says.
Books are priced as low as $10 to allow even those on the tightest budget to benefit from the sale. The most expensive is just $50, and pricing is simplified so that books fall into one of five categories—$10, $20, $30, $40, and $50.
All titles are new, and there are no "scratch and dent" books included in this sale, according to Phillips. "We decided to separate out all of the books that are imperfect—but perfectly good—and include only new books in this promotion so there would be no confusion about the tremendous bargains people are receiving," Phillips said. The new "Scratch & Dent" section of the MC Press Bookstore remains available to those who are willing to trade a few minor imperfections for major savings.
"MC Press Bookstore customers will only find this many new books at prices this low during the BIG sales," Phillips says. "We have gone to the maximum discount point on these books, and in some cases, we actually went past the maximum discount point to include the book in its rounded price category," he says.
The sale is on for only three more weeks, so readers can't spend the whole summer deciding which titles to buy. Quantities are limited, so it's first come, first served. It's best to shop early rather than be disappointed. All orders must be received by Monday, July 18.
Free shipping within the continental U.S. will be given to any order of $100 or more. To qualify, however, you must enter the magic code—FREESHIP—at check-out in order to receive the additional discount.
