Company identified as helping better manage supply chains in difficult financial times.
For the sixth year, LANSA has been included among a list of the top 100 technology and service providers to grocery and food-service distributors and manufacturers for helping to meet their business goals.
Food Logistics magazine recently announced the sixth-annual listing of the Food Logistics 100 (FL100) for 2009 from among more than 140 nominations users and solution providers. The Food Logistics’ editorial staff focused on the theme of managing change through hard economic times with technology. According to the magazine, the FL100 recipients demonstrated they can meet users' specific needs. LANSA’s software products have provided cost effective solutions to a wide range of companies throughout each step in supply chain during the economic crisis, the magazine noted.
“LANSA is honored to again be selected as one of the leading technology vendors in the food logistics industry,” said Kevin Corcoran, vice president of sales, LANSA Americas. “As a leader in the Global Data Synchronization (GDS) initiative since its inception, we are proud to have provided industry-leading GDSN implementations across many industries including alcohol and beverage (ABI), hardlines, consumer packaged goods (CPG), private label, fast moving consumer goods (FMCG) with direct store delivery (DSD), food services and healthcare.
“LANSA’s software offerings and the industry expertise of our consulting services organization have enabled us to rapidly deploy cost effective solutions to a variety of companies at each step in the supply chain from the supplier to distributor to the retailer” he said. “In turn, our customers achieve improved operational efficiencies and the ability to reach new markets in a secure and cost efficient manner. Given the current state of the economy we’re seeing an increase in the demand for these solutions to attain greater supply chain automation with a rapid return on investment.”
