HiT Software Inc., an established player in the data integration and access (DIA) market, today announced multiple initiatives to meet expanding opportunities throughout Latin America.
First, three new Latin American channel partners represent HiT Software: Intersoft in Bolivia, AMM Planac Solutions in Brazil, and TecnoAV in Ecuador. Second, Alejandro Millalen, based in Santiago, Chile, joins HiT Software as sales manager for Latin America. And third, HiT Software has expanded its Web site, www.hitsw.com, to include Latin American localizations. These initiatives are a response to increased Latin American licensing of HiT Software products during 2007.
The continuing growth of the Latin American IT marketplace has created greater need for data integration and access products. HiT Software products perform real-time, bi-directional replication between all major databases (DBMoto); execute real-time, bi-directional transformations between XML and all major databases (Allora); and connect Windows and Java applications to IBM DB2 databases via .NET, OLE DB, ODBC and JDBC standards.
According to World Bank annual Global Economic Prospects report, many Latin American countries experienced more than over 5 percent annual GDP growth during 2007. HiT Software's new channel partners bring their data access and integration expertise as well as their specific knowledge of local markets to deliver HiT Software product-based solutions. The four new partners join HiT Software existing partners Data Care in Argentina and Info2000 in Chile.
The appointment of Alejandro Millalen in Santiago ensures the highest level of channel and customer support. Millalen will be responsible throughout Latin America for working with strategic partners and system integrators to develop channel sales and marketing programs. He brings proven experience in the Latin American IT marketplace in sales, marketing, and technical positions.
The localization of the HiT Software Web site will significantly improve service to HiT Software customers and channel partners. Spanish localization is accessible immediately and Portuguese localization will be available shortly. These new localizations are available alongside Chinese, English, French, German, Italian, and Japanese.
