HiT Software Inc., a player in the data integration and access (DIA) market, has announced multiple initiatives to support its growing number of partners and customers in Asia.

First, Bruce Lee, based in Hong Kong, has joined HiT Software as Territory Manager for Asia. Second, HiT Software is releasing Mandarin and Japanese language versions of its DBMoto and Allora video demonstrations. Finally, HiT Software has expanded its search engine support for major Asian Web resources including Baidu, Google China, and Google Japan. These initiatives are the result of increased Asian IT community evaluation and licensing of HiT Software products during the past year as well as joint work with HiT Software's existing regional partners: Eden Information Service Ltd. in China, Apex Solutions Ltd. in Hong Kong, Yam Pong, Inc. in Taiwan, and Climb, Inc. in Japan.

The appointment of Lee assures customers and partners of the highest level of support. Lee brings many years of data integration and access sales, marketing, and technical knowledge and experience. He is responsible throughout Asia for working with strategic partners and system integrators to develop channel sales and marketing programs.

The strong growth of the Asian IT marketplace has created increased demand for data integration and access products. HiT Software products perform real-time, bi-directional replication between all major databases (DBMoto); execute real-time, bi-directional transformations between XML and all major databases (Allora); and connect Windows and Java applications to IBM DB2 databases via .NET, OLE DB, ODBC and JDBC standards.

According to the Asian Development Bank, developing economies in Asia are forecast to grow 7.7 percent in 2008. HiT Software channel partners bring their data access and integration expertise, as well as their specific knowledge of local markets, to deliver HiT Software product-based solutions. Discovering mutually profitable partnerships will be a priority for HiT Software over the next years.

The localization of the HiT Software video product demonstrations will significantly improve support for Asian IT professionals. Video resources offer "show me" customer support at the convenience of staff schedules. These new localizations will be available alongside English and Spanish versions. Technical support through HiT Software partners is available throughout the Asian time zones in Cantonese, Mandarin and Japanese via email, web site, and telephone.

IT professionals use search engines daily to find solutions to problems they encounter. HiT Software will add Simplified Chinese and Kanji crawlable pages that will enable customers and partners to quickly locate valuable information on solutions.

"Our goal is to offer short ROI data integration solutions and excellent customer support for HiT Software products to organizations across Asia," said Giacomo Lorenzin, CEO of HiT Software. "As a key team member, Bruce will provide a critical communication channel for our growing channel partners and to customers." Lee added, "HiT Software has important key customers in place in Asia and is strategically positioned in the data access and integration market to meet the exploding need for high value IT solutions throughout the private and government sectors of the region."
