Software developer mrc announces the release of an e-Learning Portal for m-Power users. m-Power is a web application development platform that businesses use across their organizations. It creates web applications such as report-writing, Business Intelligence, executive dashboards, customer portals, and mobile applications to name a few.
Created by m-Power consultants, the e-Learning Portal provides basic training lessons to help new m-Power users get up and running quickly. It consists of 10 lessons, each with a guided video and a hands-on workshop. m-Power users complete each lesson at their own pace, and can download a Certificate of Completion after the course is complete.
This new offering provides m-Power users with a number of benefits. With the new e-Learning Portal, mrc’s clients receive:
- More value out of their m-Power investment: Because m-Power has no user fees, companies who license m-Power can have an unlimited number of users. With the e-Learning Portal, they can bring on new users and get them up and running in a few hours.
- Free access to m-Power Essentials training: The e-Learning Portal is available to any m-Power user, at no cost.
- A complimentary review by an m-Power consultant: Every lesson includes a video, an interactive workshop, and a short quiz. The answers receive a complimentary review by an m-Power consultant, to ensure that the user understood the material.
"We believe that successful employees are educated ones," says says Rick Hurckes, mrc's Director of Services. "However, we understand the challenges, both in terms of time and money, of continuing employee education. We created the e-Learning portal to address these challenges, and give employees a way to learn the m-Power basics on their own schedule, at no cost. This will help companies quickly educate new users and ultimately get more value out of their m-Power investment."
