Lawson Software announced it now offers Lawson Managed Hosting to its enterprise software customers in EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa). Lawson Managed Hosting is designed to help customers get the most out of their Lawson ERP investment while reducing demands on their IT resources. IBM will be the official hosting provider for Lawson's on-demand and hosted offerings in the region.
Lawson Managed Hosting was created to help simplify the enterprise application ownership experience for Lawson customers. It offers customers a single contract and point of contact for all aspects of application management of their Lawson installation. Lawson Managed Hosting is specifically tailored for organizations that want simplified support and maintenance as well as accountability and answers from one source.
"Lawson Managed Hosting was launched in the United States last year and was received well by our customers," said David Osborne, vice president of managed services for Lawson. "With this in mind, Lawson is extending our hosting offerings through IBM to include our customers in EMEA."
