HelpSystems, a leading provider of systems and network management, business intelligence, and security and compliance solutions, today announced it has completed the acquisition of the RODIN data warehouse software portfolio from Coglin Mill. As the industry leading tool for building and managing data warehouses and data marts for IBM i, the RODIN acquisition expands the HelpSystems business intelligence portfolio.

"As a long-term strategic partner of HelpSystems, adding RODIN to our business intelligence offerings is a great fit," said Janet Dryer, CEO of HelpSystems. "We are looking forward to providing an environment that will stimulate investment in RODIN and accelerate the development of future capabilities."

RODIN features powerful change data capture (CDC), extract, transform, and load (ETL), and error management capabilities giving users full control of their data. Being highly integrated with the IBM i operating system offers secure, efficient, and simple implementation, which allows RODIN to outperform all other ETL tools.

"We are excited that RODIN is now part of the HelpSystems family of offerings because of their commitment to excellent product development and customer support," said Allen Perry, President and Founder of Coglin Mill. "We already have several customers that leverage both RODIN and SEQUEL [a division of HelpSystems] for their complex data management environments and this acquisition will strengthen both products in the marketplace and benefit all IBM i customers."

Along with the acquisition of RODIN, HelpSystems also announced today the acquisition of RJS Software Systems, Inc. Together, these two acquisitions bring the total to 13 acquisitions that HelpSystems has completed since 2006.
