RSA certification ensures interoperability between iConnect and RSA's SIEM platform.

Safestone Technologies, supplier of IBM i security and compliance solutions, has announced it has joined the RSA Secured Partner Program to certify interoperability with the RSA enVision solution. This certification with RSA, the Security division of EMC, ensures interoperability between iConnect and RSA's Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) platform. This interoperability partnership enables joint customers to more effectively monitor their security operations, the company says.

"We are pleased to join the RSA Secured Partner Program and help organizations closely monitor incidents and threats that may occur on the i," said Terry Heath, Safestone COO. "Any corporation using a SIEM solution for regulatory compliance needs to ensure the IBM i is part of its scope, because it processes the enterprise's most critical data. Safestone has more than twenty years experience in securing this platform."

iConnect covers over 300 different events, including network access, object changes and user profiles.

The RSA enVision platform is designed to give organizations a single integrated three-in-one log management solution for security information and event management to simplify compliance, enhance security operations, and optimize IT and network operations. The RSA enVision solution provides automated collection, analysis, and reporting of log and event data.

"We are pleased to welcome Safestone to the RSA Secured Partner Program. The ability to conduct real-time analysis is paramount, given today's evolving cyber threat landscape," said Ted Kamionek, vice president, Corporate Development at RSA. "Through our interoperability collaboration we can provide a powerful set of tools for customers in the market by delivering critical real-time network forensics and enabling enterprise security experts to deal with security risks in the most effective and efficient manner possible."
