The company is offering clients a reverse proxy server for secure file sharing.

Linoma Software, developers of the GoAnywhere suite of secure managed file transfer solutions, is now offering a new reverse proxy server product, GoAnywhere Gateway. In addition, Linoma is announcing a major release of its GoAnywhere Services file transfer server. The combination of GoAnywhere Gateway and GoAnywhere Services provide an enterprise-strength solution for secure file sharing and data automation, while allowing customers to comply with regulations such as HIPAA, PCI DSS, SOX and GLBA, the company says.

Customers typically install GoAnywhere Gateway onto a server in their DMZ (demilitarized zone) or public network. Trading partners will connect through GoAnywhere Gateway to designated FTP, FTPS, SFTP, or HTTPS resources in GoAnywhere Services, which would be located in the private (internal) network. With GoAnywhere Gateway’s reverse proxy process, no sensitive data needs to be stored in the DMZ and no incoming ports need to be opened into the private network.

GoAnywhere Gateway features include:

• Internal servers are “masqueraded” behind reverse proxy

• No incoming ports are opened into the private network, reducing the risk of network intrusion

• No sensitive files are stored in the DMZ

• User credentials, permissions, keys and certificates are maintained in the private network

• Services configurations are maintained in the private network

• Supports FTP, FTPS, SFTP, HTTP and HTTPS file transfer protocols

GoAnywhere Gateway can be installed on Windows, Linux, UNIX, AIX and Solaris platforms. Pricing starts at $2,995.

GoAnwhere Services V2.0

GoAnywhere Services V2.0 includes an enhanced interface for browser-based file transfers over HTTP or HTTPS. Using this explorer-like interface, your trading partners can quickly download and upload files with their mouse using drag-and-drop, multi-select and right-click options. It also allows users to transfer multiple files concurrently with the ability to monitor the progress of large file transfers. For automated file transfers, trading partners can also connect to GoAnywhere Services through standard FTP, FTPS (FTP over SSL) and SFTP (FTP over SSH) protocols.

GoAnywhere Services also includes new administration and authentication features. Trading partner accounts can be created quickly with user-defined templates or can be imported from other systems. These accounts can now be authenticated against Active Directory (AD), LDAP and IBM i systems so customers do not have to maintain a separate set of passwords. Accounts can also be automatically disabled after a certain period of inactivity for security purposes.

GoAnywhere Services can be installed on most operating systems including Windows, Linux, IBM i (iSeries), UNIX, AIX  and Solaris platforms. Pricing starts at $1,495.

Complete Secure Approach for B2B

"We built GoAnywhere Services and GoAnywhere Gateway to provide a complete and secure approach for B2B file sharing with ease-of-use in mind,” says Bob Luebbe, chief architect at Linoma Software.  “This allows our customers to save time and money while protecting their sensitive data in transit."
