More than 100 IT managers, most from Europe's insurance and banking sectors, gather in Spain's Port Aventura resort for two days of presentations on system monitoring techniques.
Tango/04 presented its latest product enhancements and helped IT managers with their system monitoring challenges during the fifth Tango/04 Monitoring Symposium at the end of May.
The symposium, a European event dedicated exclusively to discussing the optimization of resources nd operations through real-time monitoring, reunited more than 100 IT professionals from 14 countries in the Convention Center of Port Aventura.
During those two days, companies from the insurance and banking sectors, of the stature of BBVA and Zurich Insurance, shared their success stories and experiences and depicted new IT trends in their sectors.
Tango/04, a specialist in these areas, officially presented its revolutionary tool that allows for holistic control through monitoring all the activities of each of the departments within a company to obtain global visibility.
“Holistic Monitoring allows you to be proactive and manage technology in business terms, avoiding risks and the loss of money and prestige,” affirmed Raul Aguirre, president, CEO and founder of Tango/04.
Total Visibility in monitoring allows technology to be aligned with the business, reducing operating costs up to 68 percent and avoiding errors produced by technical problems.
In this context, head of IT Operations and Service Management at Zurich Insurance, Juan Antonio Conde, said that “we have switched from a technological vision in which IT is a cost, to a holistic vision in which the company is managed with the business in mind.”
In the constantly evolving environment of the IT sector, renewing and using tools to improve the levels of excellence turns out to be essential for companies to optimize resources: "Thanks to this solution we can control and offer the desired service levels today," declared technical C&B systems manager at BBVA, Juan Pablo de la Fuente. "As we are inevitably moving toward the "age of forced quality:" Either you achieve high service quality or you will vanish," said Aguirre.
Tango/04 has developed its comprehensive monitoring tool to be compatible with different mobile technologies and can be visualized on mobile devices such as tablets and smartphones, responding to the business trend of migration towards cloud computing.
