How to make my RPG program talk to a web server

I'm just looking for samples or advice on how to make an RPG program connect to a web server and then update fields in an MSACCESS table on this server - is anyone doing something similar to this and would you have any working examples to get me started in the right direction. Our iSeries is at version V5R3. Diane
