Ever want to enter a command name but can't remember the proper spelling? The most common way to solve this problem is to press F4 on a blank command line. This presents you with the Major Command Groups menu, where you can select either option 1 (Select command by name), 2 (Verb commands), or 3 (Subject commands). Another way is to use the Select Command (SLTCMD) command with a partial command name followed by an asterisk. A friend recently pointed out another way: By entering a partial name on a command line followed by an asterisk, and then pressing Enter, the system will provide a list of commands from which you can make a selection. This involves even fewer keystrokes, so it's easier to use. Although this is a simple technique, it's very useful.
