IBM SmartCloud Application Services Version 1.1 is IBM's platform-as-a-service (PaaS) offering for the public cloud. It delivers a collaborative, cloud-based environment that supports the full lifecycle of accelerated application development, deployment, and delivery. IBM SmartCloud Application Services provides an enterprise-class infrastructure, enhanced security, and pay-as-you-go services. Clients can use IBM SmartCloud Application Services to sense and quickly respond to market demands, capture new markets, and reduce application delivery and management costs.

 

With this announcement, IBM SmartCloud Application Services Version 1.1 is enhanced to include the Zend Server V6 Application Pattern for PHP.
