TechTip: Getting Rid of That Pesky PCSERR100

After getting my new PC with XP and Client Access V5R1, I started receiving a PCSERR100 error message (Memory allocation error). This usually occurred when I had been working with one or two emulation sessions for awhile and then tried to open a third session. I tried applying all the IBM service packs, hoping each time that the problem would be fixed, but to no avail.

Finally, I stumbled on a solution. After applying Microsoft's XP Service Pack 1, the problem disappeared.
