ProData Computer Services, Inc. announces FREE releases of software to all schools involved in IBMÆs Academic Initiative and to college students competing in IBMÆs System i Innovation Challenge contest.
With this offering, ProData hopes to support IBMÆs initiative to increase student awareness of the ôall-in-oneö IBM System i computer with the use of their flagship product, DBU, the ôall-in-oneö database tool and itÆs other software offerings.

ProData is also announcing a challenge of their own. The æDBU ChallengeÆ contest encourages those working on the System i to submit ideas for new productivity tools or enhancements to ProDataÆs current utilities. ContestantÆs ideas may æbecome the next DBUÆ, proliferated worldwide, with a cash prize of $1000 awarded at the end of the contest.
