Global Software, Inc., a leading provider of Microsoft Excel-based automation and analysis tools to the Oracle, JD Edwards, People Soft, Lawson, SAP, Infinium, BPCS, and Jack Henry marketplaces, has announced it has launched a new website for their flagship Spreadsheet Server application, ww.myspreadsheetserver.com.
Myspreadsheetserver.com was launched for two purposes, the company said. First, due to its overwhelming popularity in the market, Global Software's homepage, www.glbsoft.com, was getting a large number of hits on a daily basis; second, there was s significant customer and partner interest in Global Software dedicating a website to Global's flagship Excel-based application, Spreadsheet Server
Myspreadsheetserver.com will serve as a virtual information center for the company's flagship product and will include case studies/customer testimonials, registration for webcasts as well as access to press releases and further marketing information. In addition, myspreadsheetserver.com will host the blogging section for Global's Excel-based automation tools. The website will offer interactive features, through which customers can log in and tell about their Spreadsheet Server experiences. It will also offer the capability for potential partners and distributors to inquire about how to become certified to represent the Excel-based Spreadsheet Server application on the world's most popular ERP platforms including: Oracle, SAP, JD Edwards and Lawson.
Spencer Kupferman, vice president, corporate affairs and company spokesman for Global Software, Inc. stated, "Spreadsheet Server has evolved into an international Microsoft Excel-based application phenomenon in Oracle, JDE, Lawson, and SAP as well as some other well-known ERP packages in the industry. We felt our flagship Spreadsheet Server product was worthy of its own website based on the demand for the product worldwide and recommendations from customers and partners alike. The Internet is a fabulous marketing vehicle and we could find no better way to get our message out on behalf of Spreadsheet Server than to launch its own website."
