Global Software, Inc., has announced the general availability of Version 11, Release 3 of its Microsoft Excel-based Spreadsheet Server.net for use with Infor ERP SyteLine and Infor ERP XA applications.

Harry Powell, director, client technology for Global Software, Inc. said, "Global Software, Inc's technology blueprint for our Microsoft Excel-based automation tools continues to innovate and release top-flight products that streamline the business users' utilization of Excel. We understand the challenges that face the ERP community relative to how to retrieve and analyze data real-time in Excel. The Infor user community and industry analysts have been very supportive of our efforts to enhance the Infor ERP Syteline and Infor ERP XA experience by bringing our Excel automation technology to compliance with the SyteLine and XA environments."

Functionality available to Infor ERP SyteLine and Infor ERP XA customers includes the following:
  • No more downloading or rekeying/exporting of spreadsheet data from your MAPICS IFM or SyteLine G/L.
  • Performs multi-site corporate consolidations with instant access to real-time data from SyteLine.
  • Eliminates requirement for IT or super-users to create/change reports.
  • No staging areas or data warehousing needed
  • Analysis of data all performed dynamically in Microsoft Excel.
  • Available for SyteLine, R7 or higher; and Infor XA, R3 or higher.
