The solution offers a combination of capture and redaction that allows sensitive content to be removed at the point it enters the system.

Informative Graphics Corp. (IGC), a provider of viewing, collaboration and redaction technology, has released Redact-It for IBM FileNet Capture, a seamless integration between IGC's electronic redaction tool and IBM's scanning product. The new product offers the first truly integrated redaction capability for the IBM FileNet Capture solution, according to the company.

"This release provides a very useful combination of capture and redaction, allowing sensitive content to be removed right at the point where it enters the system," said Joe Junker, director of business development for IGC. "It is a great way for FileNet Capture customers to achieve regulatory compliance and make sure that this information is protected right from the start. Businesses and government entities focused on meeting e-discovery, privacy protection, Sunshine Act legislation, and other compliance and privacy requirements will appreciate Redact-It's solid return on investment."

Redact-It brings automated redaction of confidential data to the major IBM FileNet repositories including P8 Content Engine, Image Services, and Capture local repository. Redact-It can release both redacted and unredacted versions of the file, saving any additional workflow steps. Redact-It safeguards confidential information from risk of accidental exposure and greatly streamlines the redaction process. For more information, visit www.infograph.com/ibm.
